Just having fun

We had a super day.

We started the day going to town. We stopped at The UPS Store to pick up our mail. Then we went to Walmart to do a little grocery shopping. Last stop was Pop Shelf. 

Awhile back we bought a couple of soup bowls at Pop Shelf. One was a cast iron bowl and the other one was a glass bowl. The cast iron bowl was a little too small, it couldn't hold a cup of soup. The glass bowl works perfect . So we went back to see if Pop Shelf had another glass bowl. But they didn't. We'll keep looking for another bowl.

I spent the morning and part of the afternoon working on Beauty and the Beast jigsaw puzzle. I finished it. I started the puzzle 1/1/24 and finished 1/5/24. In the evening I started another Disney 500 piece puzzle, it is Mickey and Minnie Mouse. I put the frame together.

I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 10 games (5 Pyramid and 5 Tri Peaks). It took me 25 minutes and 35 seconds, which put me in 2nd place in my group. Then I moved onto Angry Birds. 

I played two pinball games. They were Shrek and Doctor Who.

I worked out for a half hour with the Wii Fit and a half hour of Gold's Gym. By the ended of the day I had done 17,500 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.

Larry finished working his jukebox skin. The skin came out looking super and it works outstanding. It allows you to pick the channel you want to play and then it displays the channel name, the song title / artist and playing time. The volume level is indicated by a sliding bar and the tones from the music are represented by bars that move with the music.

In the evening I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 dance at 6:30 for an hour. She is still on vacation for the holidays so Karin Rabe and Greg Moore covered for her. They called four tips to 12 participants. They did a super jobs of calling. I had a very nice evening of dancing to Karin and Greg and with friends.

The fourth season of All Creatures Great & Small is starting Sunday on PBS so we started watching the third season after my dance. Then I watched a couple of Jesse Stone movies, which were Stone Cold and Death in Paradise.
