Wednesday 1-10-24 Dance Day, Project, Games & More

 

Happy Wednesday

I hope everyone had a beautiful day. We started out in the 30's and ended up in the 60's. It was a little windy but not as bad as yesterday.

I attended three virtual square dances. First was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 10:00 for an hour. Di and Terry took turns calling five tips to 12 participants. I had a super time dancing with friends.

Second was Ett McAtee's Weekly C1 at 1:00 for an hour. Ett called five tips to 23 participants. She concentrated on the Triangle Concept. I had fun dancing to Ett and with friends.

Third was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:00 for an hour and a half. Karin Rabe and Greg Moore helped Dave calling the dance. The format was three tips of C1 and three tips of A2. Karin and Greg called a tip of C1 and A2 moves together, Dave called a tip of C1 and A2 and the third tip of C1 and A2 all three callers called together. During the A2 tips we had two Trivia questions. When Dave called his C1 tip he walked us through Wheel the Ocean, Wheel the Sea, Reverse Wheel the Ocean and Reverse Wheel the Sea. They are C2 moves but it's fun playing with the moves.During the C1 tips there were 7 participants and the A2 tips had 9 participants. I had a very nice evening dancing with friends.

While I danced Larry worked on his next jukebox project. He's going to build this jukebox different than the other jukebox so it's going to take some time to do. He is also waiting on some items that are coming from China.

I worked out on the Wii Fit for a half hour and the Gold's Gym for a half hour. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Medium Mayhem of 27 games. It took me 1 hour, 31 minutes and 54 seconds, which put me in 13th place in my group. Then I moved onto Angry Birds.

I played a couple of pinball on the pinball cabinet. I played the weekly challenge game, Last Action Hero. I got a new high score of  264,910,100. The other game I played was Medieval Madness I hadn't played this game in a long time and did very well.

After the last dance we started watching the fourth season of All Creature Great and Small on PBS. We watched two episodes. When Larry went to bed I watched Spider-Man 2 starring Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man.
