We started the day out by doing some errands.
The license plate tags are due on the Minnie in February, Texas allows you to renew them 90 days in advance so we stopped at the storage center to take the Minnie in for its yearly inspection. We stopped by Valvoline Instant Oil Change to get it inspected. It was quick and easy. The lady who helped us was friendly and fast. Then we started the generator and went back to the storage center to put it back in storage. Larry went online and submitted the renewal.
Next stop was The Home Depot because Larry needed a stronger catch to hold the door closed in the back of the pinball machine. He also needed a couple more power strips.
The last stop was Walmart to do our weekly grocery shopping.
Grocery shopping
We spent the rest of the day relaxing.
Larry installed two more pinball games, James Bond 60th Anniversary and Queen. The first one was probably the easiest install he has done, the second one installed easy but you could not hear the music, it took him a couple of hours to figure it out. After getting it to work we played those and other games. We are now up to 15 games, the problem with having lots of games is you have too many choices. To get really good you need to practice and play a game a lot, with so many available you tend to move from one to another. They are all really good. For Larry the entire endeavor has not been about actually playing the games, it has been more about the process of building and getting everything working. While installing and getting the games working can be frustrating Larry sees it as a challenge and enjoys the process. Without support from internet sites this process would be impossible.
I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong and event. Today the event was Event: Medium Mayhem of 27 games. It took me 1 hour, 15 minutes and 54 seconds, which put me in 15th place in my group. I played Angry Birds. I also read a little bit.
In the evening we watched a movie on Amazon called July Rising. It was about a sixteen years old girl who inherits her grandfather's orchard. She had to navigate her future. While the movie was fairly good it didn't really end, just left you hanging and wondering. Then we watched an episode of Death In Paradise.
After Larry went to bed I started watching Wonder Woman but it crashed. I had to get Larry out of bed to see what was going on. The other day our Fire TV told us we were running out of memory so he removed some data. He's not sure if he had removed our dvd data so he reloaded the data. We have a lot of dvds, it was going to take awhile to do. He went back to bed and I started watching the 2nd season of Rockford Files.
Watching Television
I ended up doing 27,000 steps today, which put me in 2nd place in my group.
