Wednesday 3-4 Nasty Day

Playing in the rain

Last night Larry and I discussed rather to ski another day or go home. My legs were tired so we decided to go home. Larry looked at the weather and it indicated it was going to rain along a large part of our route. We thought about skiing a half a day and then start our journey home but we decided just to take our chances on the rain and leave in the morning.

We woke up at 5:00 am New Mexico time, which is 6:00 am Texas time. We were on the road by 5:20 am. We stopped now and again to stretch our legs, have lunch and to fill the car up with gas. I stayed awake for the first five hours of the drive. While I was awake I did my daily challenges and The Event: Easy Street, which had 30 games at the easy level.  The rain held off until we got to Lubbock, which is half way home. The rain was very steady and at times it was hard. We were held up at one place because there was an accident, it looked like a tractor trailer had hit the guardrails hard and some of the guardrail and trailer were all over the highway. When we left Santa Fe it was about 30 degrees and when we got home it was 54 degrees. Larry drove 12 hours and we got home at 6:30 pm.

Road Trip

We had a super ski vacation in Santa Fe. It was great to get away but nice to be back home.

When we got home we unloaded the car and had dinner. After dinner we started the watch the fourth season of Bramwell. It only has two episodes and each one is an hour and forty minutes long. We watched one episode and were disappointed on how the writers changed the series. We'll probably will watch the last episode. Afterwards we watched a couple of episodes of Narrowboat documentary. Then I watched a few episodes of Bones.
