First Boat Day
We had a gorgeous day with a lot of sunshine.
I started the day out by doing the Daily Challenges and Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Klondike and 3 Spider). It took me 16 minutes and 40 seconds, which put me 17th place in my group. I'm caught up in doing the Daily Challenges of Mahjong. The Daily Challenges of Mahjong has five different games: Classic, Lighting Tile, Score Attack, Golden Tiles and Match Attack. Classic is clearing one board. Lighting Tile is matching two lightening tiles. Score Attack is getting the score that is required. Golden Tiles is matching the golden tiles. Score Attack is matching the tiles with the same number before they get to zero. Some of the games you have to solve before the time runs out. It's all in fun.
Larry finished his latest paper project, a flatbed truck. The truck was designed to be 10 inches long but Larry resized it down to 5 inches, that made some of the pieces very small and delicate to work with. It came out very cute.

We attended one virtual square dance, Dayle Hodge's Weekly A2 at 11:00. Dayle called four two couples tips with 26 participants and one four couples tip with 16 participates. This week Dayle is calling his dances from his vacation destination in Michigan. We had a super time.
After the dance we got the boat ready to go to Lake Belton. I can't believe it's in the middle of July and we finally put the boat in the lake. On the way to the lake we stopped by the convenience store to fill the boat up with gas. We weren't sure how much gas we had in the boat considering back in February during the freeze and 4 day power outage we siphoned gas out of the boat for the generator in the motor home. When we were driving down to the ramp the lake looked rough but we still launched the boat. We drove around to check everything out. When the lake was 9 feet over full some of the parks around the lake were closed due to being underwater. When the lake went down the Corps kept them closed for an extra two weeks to dry out the roads. One of the campgrounds is still closed but Temple Park was open. We saw people on the beach, shooting hoops, swimming and picnicking. It was great to see. The park looked in great condition from the lake. After driving around we got into the water and swam. It was a little nippy but once you we in the water it warmed up. After putting the boat back on the trailer we wiped it down and went home. We had a great time on the lake.

When we got home I changed clothes and mowed the frontyard and half of the backyard. While I mowed Larry weedeated, blew off the driveway and front porch and sprayed the weeds.
We watched YouTube videos.
In the evening we watched an Amazon movie called The Zookeeper. It was a 2001 movie starring Ulrich Thomsen. It was about an ex-Communist, who is left to take care a zoo during a civil war in an Eastern European. It was good until the ending. Then I continued watching White Collar. I ended up doing 29,000 steps, which got me caught up to my daily goal. It put me in 5th place in my group.
