Thursday 6-8-23 New Exhaust, Dirt & More

 

Happy Thursday

We had a wonderful day. It got up to 87 degrees. A front blew in around 3:00 and the temperature dropped to 75 degrees. We didn't get any rain but we had a strong wind.

An update on the boat. Originally the gentleman from Tucson who is purchasing the boat was suppose to arrive yesterday to pick it up, however, his daughter had a medical issue and he had to delay for a week. In the mean time he wanted to get the wheel bearings on the trailer repacked, he found a place near us to do the work. We took the boat over today and we were suppose to get it back today but they ran into a problem getting new seals. It will not be ready until Monday but they promised to keep it stored inside. In the 16 years we have owned it the boat has always been stored inside. This is the first time it has ever been left anywhere. Any maintenance or repair that has been required Larry has always done.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event today was Event: Klondike Adventure of 20 games. It took me 56 minutes and 6 seconds, which put me in 11th place in my group. Then I moved onto playing Angry Birds. I did some Sudoku games.

Larry is working on updated the pinball machine. As with the original pinball machines most of the scoring screens are displayed in orange dots. Some are now done with colored dots so Larry is attempting to change some of our games to color. As with everything on these virtual pinball machines it is not straight forward. 

We received a phone call from Moffat Muffler saying that the Minnie was ready to be picked up. They did an excellent job and the service was outstanding. The exhaust looks like new. When we got the Minnie home Larry checked the workmanship out and was very pleased.

A couple of days ago Larry asked our neighbor if we could get some dirt from his new house to put in a couple of low spots at our septic system. He said yes. When we got home from picking up the Minnie we went next door and got some dirt. Then we spread it at the low spots. Afterwards we stepped on it to pack it down.

I ended up only playing one pinball game today. It was on the arcade machine. It was the Diner.

In the evening we watched television. The second Avatar was available to watch on Disney so we watched it. It was called Avatar The Way of the Water. It was three hours and fifteen minutes long. We didn't think it was a good as the first one but it wasn't bad. Afterwards I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One. I watched an episode of The X-Files. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 3rd place in my group.
