Wednesday 2-8-23 Dance Day & Playing Games

Happy Wednesday

We had another dreary day and some rain.

I attended four square dances. First was Di Green and Terry McCain's Weekly Plus at 10:00 for an hour. They took turns calling five tips to 14 participants. I had a super time dancing to Di and Terry and with friends.

Second was Dayle Hodge's Weekly A1/A2 at 11:00 for an hour. He called two tips of two couple A1, two tips of two couple A2 and one tip of four couple A2 to 13 participants. Larry danced with me. We had an outstanding time.

Third was Ett McAtee's Weekly C1 at 1:00 for an hour and fifteen minutes. She called four two couple tips with an occasionally four couple move and one four couple tip. The two couple tips she had 20 participants and the four couple tip had 17 participants. The four couple tip was very frustrating because she didn't cue and she called for the side couples to do the first move to get in the formation. I gave up after a couple of sequences because I was frustrated. The rest of the dance I had a fun time.

Fourth was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:30 for two hours. This week Greg Moore helped him call the A2 tips. The format was two C1 tips with 8 participants, five A2 tips with 12 participants and one C1 tip with 7 participants. In between the A2 tips we did some Trivia. I had a great time dancing to Dave and Greg.

I played my Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event today was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 10 games (5 Spider and 5 Free Cell). It took me 1 hour, 2 minutes and 55 seconds, which put me in 11th place in my group. I played some Angry Birds.

I played a few games of Stranger Things and got a new high score ot 2,184,924. Then I played some more pinball games. I played an hour or so. Larry played a few games.

New high score

While I danced Larry worked on his project.

I read a bit and did some laundry.

After Dave's dance we watched an episode of the 12th season of Vera, which is a detective series on Britbox. Then I watched Winnie the Pooh on Disney. Afterwards I watched three episodes of Rockford Files. I ended up doing 28,000 steps, which put me in 3rd place in my group for the week.
