Saturday 3-4-23 Busy Doing This & That

Doing this and that

We had a beautiful day with high of 75 degrees and sunshine.

Larry kept busy all day. First up was our taxes. We got the last statement we needed a week or two ago so today was the day, it took a couple of hours using online software to fill everything out and submit it to the IRS. Second he edged the frontyard and blew off the front porch and driveway. Third he cleaned the filters on our air purifiers. Finally he worked on his arcade games making progress on a couple of small things.

While Larry did his projects I played games. I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event today was Event: Klondike Mini of 10 games. It took me 41 minutes and 20 seconds, which put me in 27th place in my group.

Then I played some pinball games. I didn't get a new high score on IT Pinball Madness but I had fun. Larry played some pinball. He got a huge score on next weeks challenge game of Batman 66, it will be a challenge for me to beat it.

I finished the Puzz3D Traditional Collection (43 Lord Street), you only use 264 pieces but it was challenging. I started in January and just finished today. I didn't work on it everyday because it was very hard to figure out. There really weren't any instructions on how to assemble it but they did have a picture on how each side should look after assembly. The first step you have to do was separate the pieces used for the puzzle from the pieces not used. Then you separated the pieces in different shapes and function. Next you assemble the pieces together and start building it upward. The pieces were unique because they were foam pieces. It came out looking great.

In the evening we watched Captain America: Civil War. Then I watched 101 Dalmatians on Disney. It was made in 1996 and was very funny and entertaining. It was loaded with great actors and actresses (Glenn Close (Cruella), Jeff Daniels (Roger owner), Joely Richardson (Anita owner), Hugh Laurie (Jasper kidnapper), Mark Williams (Horace kidnapper) and many more. Then I watched a couple of episodes of the second season of Luther. I ended up doing 26,000 steps, which put me in 2nd place in my group.
