Monday 3-6-23 Di's Dance, Treating for Weeds & More

Gorgeous Day

We had a gorgeous day with sunshine. It got up to 81 degrees and no wind.

We started the day off by attending Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly C1 dance at 9:00 am. Di called five tips to 18 participants. During the dance she worked on Counter Rotate Concept. She put us in different positions and cued us through it. Sometimes we couldn't see it so we broke down but this was ok because it made it challenging. Larry danced with me. We had an outstanding time dancing to Di and Terry and with friends.

After lunch Larry went outside and treated for weeds. He used a liquid weed and grass killer for the gravel areas. He also treated the grass with a different solution that only targets weeds. He worked on it for about three hours. Weeds area a continuous battle.

I had stayed up until 3:00 am so while Larry was treating for weeds I took a nap.

On Sunday before going to bed I do the weekly Golden Ticket challenge to double my points. This isn't important but I enjoy it. In order to complete this you solve four different levels for a trophy and in each level you solve four games. You choose what solitaire you want to play from (Klondike, Spider, Free Cell, Pyramid and Tri Peaks) to accomplish this. Afterwards I played my Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. I did the event, which was Event: World Tour Mini of 10 games. It took me 55 minutes and 48 seconds to complete, which put me in 18th place in my group of 50 players. I played Angry Birds. I played some pinball games. I didn't get a new high score on Batman 66 but I'm still having fun.

Larry continued working on his arcade machine.

We watched YouTube videos.

In the evening we watched Black Widow,it is the next Marvel movie on our list. Then I watched Maleficent Mistress of Evil on Disney. It is the sequel of Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie as the starring role. Maleficent raised the princess Aurora as her goddaughter. The movie was as good as Maleficent. Afterwards I started watching the 3rd season of Luther. I ended up doing 28,000 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group. It's a great beginning for the week of the 175,000 step challenge.
