Tuesday 5-11 Thunder Storm and Dancing

It was overcast all day, occasionally it misted, by 1:30 in the afternoon a front rolled in with hard rain. The temperature got to the low 60s.

We started the day out going to our oral surgeon so he could make sure Larry's implant was healing properly. He said it was healing great. Larry has to go back in a three months to see if he can get a crown made for it.

On the way home we stopped by Dollar Tree. I have been feeding the birds on the back porch and everyday they leave a mess, mainly caused by tipping over the bowls of food. Larry thought small pet food bowls might work better. We found exactly what we wanted, we bought three cat food bowls. They also had the cookies we like back in stock. Next we went across the street to the UPS Store to pick up a package that was waiting for us. Next was Walmart, Larry needed to pick up an item to finish his paper project. The last stop was Heart of Texas Goodwill to donate an old television.

We attended three virtual square dances. First was Dayle Hodge's Weekly Plus at 11:00. Dayle called four two couples tips and one four couples tip. During the two couples tips we had 25 participants and 19 for the four couple tip. We had a great time.

Second was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly A1/A2 at 1:30. During each session Di and Terry called five tips. The A1 session had 30 participants, A2 had 29 and the four couples tip had 26. I danced the A1 session by myself. We had fun dancing to Di and Terry and with friends.

Third was Don Moger's Weekly A2 at 6:00. Don called six tips with 50 participants. We had an excellent time.

Before Di and Terry's dance I did the Daily Challenges and the Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Pyramid and 3 Tri Peaks). It took me 14 minutes and 14 seconds, which put me in 9th place in my group.

Larry continued working on a Cameo project.

After Di and Terry's dance we watched YouTube videos.

After Don's dance we watched a couple of documentaries on Amazon. First was The Rise and Fall of Penn Station, it was about the historic New York Pennsylvania Station. It talked about how the Pennsylvania Railroad built underwater tunnels, that goes under the Hudson and East Rivers to connect the railroad to New York and New England. It was very interesting. Second was Out of Print, which was about books and readers. Then I continued watching the sixth season of Star Trek: Voyager. I ended up doing 27,000 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.
