It rained on and off all day. It was cold with a wind out of the north. Some places in Texas had wintry weather with ice. We kept warm in the house.
The back porch was busy all day. The squirrels were eating out of the two bowls. At times there were four squirrels on the porch, one at each bowl and two others waiting for their chance. When the squirrels weren't on the porch the birds were coming and going in the feeder and bowls. I saw four to five Cardinals on the porch at one time. At mid afternoon I finally got brave enough to bear the weather and filled the bowl under the tree with seeds. Shortly afterwards a squirrel came and ate the seed.
I did the Daily Challenges and Event: World Tour Mini of 7 games. It took me 24 minutes and 5 seconds to complete. I did some Star Club games and Sudoku games.
Larry wanted to add something new to some of his paper creations so he ordered a small embossing machine and 10 plates. We played with it a bit. He used it on a couple of cards and a feather on a new Juliet that he framed. The embossing machine works great.

We attended three New Year's Eve dances. The first was Dayle Hodge's Weekly C1 at 11:00 for an hour. We had 29 participants. During the dance Dayle wore a bow tie and some of the dancers were dressed for the occasion. I wore a red, white and blue flashing hat. We had a great time.
The second one was Di Green's New Year's Eve Plus/A1 at 4:30 for an hour and a half. We had 54 participants. Di and Terry traded off calling the dance. At 5:00 we toasted the New Year in Europe, which was midnight. We danced five tips, three Plus and two A1. The first and last tip Di did a singing call. We had a super time.
The third one was Don Moger's New Year's Eve A2/C1 at 6:30 for an hour and a half. We had 95 participants. The dancers were from the U.S., Germany, Canada and Australia. Don invited Dayle Hodge, Bill Haynes, Chris Jensen and Barry Clasper to help call the dance. Don started out by calling an A2 tip, Bill did a C1, Chris called an A2, Barry called a C1 and Dayle called an A2 to finish the dance. In between the tips we did some fun stuff. Don had 12 different people sing a part of the song The Twelve Days of Christmas. Before signing off we toasted in the New Year. We had a fabulous evening of dancing.
After the last dance we watched a couple of episodes of Star Trek: Voyager. Then I started watching the fifth season of Inspector George Gently. I ended up doing 26,000 steps, which put me in second place in my group.
