It's cold

It was a cold day with the temperatures in the low 40s. Tomorrow is suppose be be even colder. The snow from yesterday is almost gone. We have patches here and there.

Last month we attended a special fund raising square dance, it was a fundraiser for Doctors Without Borders. Di Green from the U.K., Loren Smith from Canada and Ett McAtee from the U.S. called the dance. We had 65 participates and it raised $2,076. Outstanding.

Yesterday, we put in our weekly grocery shopping at Walmart but they cancelled the order because of the snow. They apologized for the in convenience and gave us $20.00 off our next order. This morning Larry reordered our groceries and they were delivered this evening.

We spent the day inside keeping warm. Larry worked on a new Cameo project. I did the Daily Challenges and the Event: Easy Street of 30 games. It took me 1 hour, 9 minutes and 26 seconds. Today all Solitaire games points were doubled. I did a few Sudoku games and Mahjong games. We watched YouTube videos.

We attended two virtual square dances. First was Joachim Ruehenbeck A1/A2 at 12:30 for two hours with a half hour break. During the A1 session we had 40 participants and the A2 session had 38 participants. Joachim called 5 tips of A1 and 4 tips of A2. I danced the A1 by myself and Larry joined me for the A2. After the last tip of A1 we had a candlelight virtual memorial to remember a dancer from Germany, he died last week while riding his bicycle, he was hit by an eighteen year old driver. His family wanted us to remember him because he loved square dancing. We had an outstanding afternoon of dancing to Joachim and his wife.

The second one was Ett McAtee's Monday C1 Workshop at 6:30 for an hour. We had 42 participants. Ett went over Twist the Line, Swing the Fractions, Swing and Circle and Tally Ho. I was starting to get frustrated when we left.

After Ett's workshop we watched an Amazon movie called Hope Gap. The movie was about a longtime married couple on the verge of a divorce. It was a good movie. I continued watching the first season of Unforgettable. I ended up doing 27,000 steps, which put me in third place in my group.
