Saturday 1-16 Visiting Louise

Beautiful Day

We had a beautiful day with a lot of sunshine. The day started out in the 30s and ended the low 60s. The wind was gone.

We went to Round Rock to visit Louise and her dog Alice. We got there a little before 11:00 and didn't get home until almost 5:00. Louise prepared a Papa Murphy pepperoni pizza and potato chips for lunch. For dessert we had cookies.

At Christmas Larry had installed a security camera in Louise's backyard. To get power to it he had simply used an extension cord running up the side of her house. Today he wanted to fix this with a permanent solution. He started out by extending the electrical box so that he could run a piece of PVC pipe up to the eve. He ran wiring through the PVC to a electrical box he installed just below the eve of the house. Then he made sure that it all worked. Perfect, it did. It looks super. We had a great visit.

Louise used gift boxes and a frog that Larry made to decorate the wall of her living room, it looked really cute. Larry thought she would just throw the boxes away, he had made them to use when we gave her some gift cards.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing in front of the television. I did the Daily Challenges and the Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 10 games. It took me 1 hour, 2 minutes and 31 seconds. I also played some Mahjong games.

In the evening we watched YouTube videos and a documentary on Amazon called Paddle to Seattle. It was about two guys who kayaked from Alaska to Seattle, which was 1,300 miles using a coastal route. It was a good documentary. Then I finished watching the second season of Unforgettable. I ended up doing 26,000 steps, which put me in fourth place in my group.
