Visiting Discount Tires
We started the day by going to town to get new tires put on the Equinox. Our appointment was at 9:00 but we got there a little early. Because of COVID the procedure was a little different. We drove up to a sign and an assistant came out to fill out the paperwork. Some of the workers were wearing masks. When it was our turn Larry pulled the car into the bay. We got out and waited outside. It took about a 45 minutes. The service was excellent and the employees were friendly and courteous. Can you believe we got 105766 miles out of the original Michelin tires, replaced them with the exact same tire

Larry wants to replace his hiking boots so on the way home we swung by Academy. He found a pair he liked but they didn't have his size. An employee asked if we needed any help. Larry asked her to check the stock. She was very helpful and suggested other hiking shoes but they did not have anything with the correct size. Larry wears wide shoes and some of the styles didn't come in wide, some offered wide but not in 11.5. We also looked at Academy online and still could not find anything. He will have to find somewhere else to purchase his hiking boots.

We were suppose to be on our fall trip so we have a mowing service taking care of the mowing, today is our mowing day so I had to take down my Halloween decorations and when the mowing was done I had to put them back up. Glad I don't have to do that all the time.

We attended two virtual square dances. First was Dayle Hodge's Weekly C1 at 11:00. Dayle asked Jeremy Butler to cover for him because he wasn't available. Jeremy had a doctor appointment so Ett McAtee was asked to call instead. When the dance started Jeremy showed up so both of them called the dance. Jeremy and Ett both called two two couples tips with 16 participants and Jeremy called the four couples tip with 15 participants. Larry danced with me and we had a super time.
Second was Jeremy Butler's Weekly A2/C1 at 6:00. He called three two couples A2 tips with 10 participants, one four couples A2 tip with 8 participants and one C1 tip with four couples calls thrown in now and than with 7 participants. We had a small group but had a fantastic time dancing with friends.
I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong and the Event: Two Game Tango of 20 games (10 Klondike and 10 10 Free Cell). It took me 1 hour, 33 minutes and 22 seconds, which put me in 9th place in my group.
Larry started working on a computer project called Magic Mirror.
In the evening we watched two episodes of Baptiste on PBS. Then I finished up the 3rd season of Republic Of Doyle. I ended up doing 27,000 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.
