Happy New Year to everyone!!!! Larry and I hope that everyone will have a great 2018.
I don't make New Year's resolutions because I never keep them. During 2017 we said good-bye to our wonderful dog Flo, my brother in-law Mike and my oldest brother, Philip, they will be missed deeply. We had a terrific year doing things we love; traveling, square dancing, hiking, camping and other fun things. We're looking forward to another great year in 2018.
We started the year out with a New Year's lunch with a group from the J-5 RV park. The lunch cost $5 per person, it included a hamburger with all the toppings, potato salad, beans, potato chips and fruit cocktail. You had to bring your own plates and utensils. about 50 people attended. It was a very nice get together to socialize with people in the park.

It drizzled all day and it was cold. We spent the day reading and I baked cookies to take with us to tonights New Year Dance with Randy Doughty. The dance was a mainstream/plus dance. We danced with some people we hadn't danced with before. Butch Danielski, another caller in the Valley was at the dance, Randy's voice was starting to go so Butch filled in on the singing calls. In between the tips Randy cued a few round dances or we just visited. We had a very nice evening dancing and visiting.
