Tuesday 5-14-24 Dance, Jigsaw Puzzle, Jukebox & Waxing Minnie

 

We had a beautiful day with a lot of sunshine. We started the day out with the temperature of 64 degrees and got up to 88 degrees. The humidity was down, which kept it very comfortable.

Larry started the day out by waxing the driver side of the Minnie. He worked on it for three hours. He still has the back and cab overhead to do.

While Larry worked on the Minnie I attended Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly A2 dance at 10:00 for an hour. Terry and Di took turns calling five tips to 14 participants. Di worked on Cross Roll from a mini wave and Motivate. They both cued through out the dance and worked on moves that the dancers were having problems with. Morley from Canada told me to tell Larry that he was missed at the dance. The rest of the dancers agreed with him. I had a super time dancing with friends.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Event. The event today was Event: Klondike Adventure of 20 games. It took me 1 hour, 24 minutes and 24 seconds, which put me in 14th place in my group. I played Angry Birds 2 and Angry Birds and Friends.

I spent most of the day working on The Blue Truck jigsaw puzzle. It's starting to look like the truck.

Larry was teasing me because lately when I worked out with the Synth Riders I have only been working out for a half hour instead of an hour. So I worked out with it for an hour.

I played a couple of pinball games. I had problems with taking a picture through the headset. Larry suggested for me to take pictures from the Virtual Reality program. It worked except when I need to get my high score for the weekly challenge because it takes a few seconds before taking the photo. By then it will be on the wrong screen. Today he suggested I restart the headset. When I did it started to take photos again. Thank you Larry. The games I played were The Get Away and Black Rose. I didn't get a new high score in The Get Away but I did get a new Grand Champion score in Black Rose. I had a great time playing pinball.

In the evening we finished watching Maryland on PBS. It was a three episode series about two sisters finding out their mother wasn't who they thought she was after she dies. It was ok. Then we watched an episode of Northern Exposure. After Larry went to bed I watched Wonder Woman 1984. I ended up doing 17,500 steps, which put me in 3rd place in my group.
