Happy Saturday
We had a super day.
Larry
began the day by starting to wax the Minnie. It takes a long time and a lot of it has to be done on a ladder. He did the passenger side
and the hood of the cab. He got started about 7:30 and worked on it until 10:30.
Waxing the Minnie
I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Event. The event was Spider Mini of 10 games. It took me 1 hour, 1 minutes and 52 seconds, which put me in 14th place in my group. I played some games of Angry Birds 2 and Angry Birds and Friends.
Larry had read about a car show in Riesel, a small town 17 miles from Waco. We decided to go. When Larry stopped waxing the Minnie I put a small cooler together and we loaded into the truck. We arrived at Riesel a bit after noon. We stopped at a CEFCO for lunch at the Subway. We shared a foot-long cold cut trio.
After lunch we went to the show. It was a small show but very nice. We saw some beautiful vehicles and some that needed work. It was only a couple of rows of vehicles. We weren't there too long.

On the way home we did a few stops. First stop was at the Seven-11 to fill the truck with gas. We seldom drive the truck, the last time we filled it was almost a year ago. Then we went to The UPS Store to pick up our mail. After getting our mail we went next door to Great Cuts so Larry could get his hair cut.

Once we were at home Larry fertilized the yards and did some adjusting on our sprinklers. I worked out with Synth Riders for a half hour. I played the weekly challenge of pinball NASCAR and got a new high score of 31,720,380, which put me in 37th place out of 60 participants. Then I played Medieval Madness.

For dinner I grilled a frozen pizza. It came out very good.
In the evening we watched the sixth episode of Call the Midwife on PBS. We also watched Mr. Bates on PBS. It was a documentary about a gentleman, who took on the British Post Office. It was very well done. Then I finished watching the first season of Sherlock and started the second season. I ended up doing 16,500 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.
