Wednesday 3-20-24 Dancing, Projects & More

Awesome day and keep smiling

We had an awesome day with the high of 67 degrees.

Larry kept busy doing different projects. He's doing a few small projects on the Minnie. He replaced the step cover and spare tire cover. He refilled a couple of propane canisters. He is also working on adding a switch to make it easy to switch the refrigerator from the lithium battery to the house battery.

His other project was fixing one of the septic spray heads. The landscape guys replaced it but left it covered by sod and too low in the ground to work correctly. Yesterday, we went to The Home Depot and bought the pieces he thought he needed. This morning when he dug it out he found out he needed a part he didn't have. So off to The Home Depot we went. When we got back Larry went outside and fixed the head. While he was working outside he noticed that Jason's new irrigation system wasn't working correctly, some of the sprinklers weren't spraying the right way or direction. One had a large leak, another was buried under the sod. He fixed the buried head and adjusted the others the best he could. He then texted Jason to let him know. Jason texted back and said he thought the crew was coming back Friday.

While Larry worked on his projects I attended two virtual square dances. First was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 11:00 for an hour and fifteen minutes. Di and Terry took turns calling five tips to 8 participants. I had a super time dancing with friends.

I logged in to attend Ett McAtee's Weekly C1 at 1:00, she was not there but Lutz (a gentleman from Germany) let everyone know the dance was cancelled. It was cancelled due to her having an infected tooth, she has been fighting it for weeks. I was sorry to hear about her tooth problem because we thought she had it solved. We all wished her well and thanked Lutz for the information.

Second was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:00 for an hour and a half. Karin Rabe and Greg Moore helped him call the dance. Karin and Greg called a tip of C1 and A2 together, Dave called a tip of C1 and A2 and the third tip of C1 and A2 all three called together. The C1 session had 8 participants and the A2 session had 9 participants. In between the A2 tips we had a couple of Trivia questions. I had a great time dancing to Karin, Greg and Dave and with friends.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Solitaire World Tour of 30 games. It took me 1 hour, 46 minutes and 11 seconds, which put me in 11th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

I worked out with the Synth Rider for an hour. Afterwards we watched YouTube videos.

After the last dance we watched a couple of episodes of Northern Exposure. When Larry went to bed I watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and an episode of Madame Blanc Mysteries. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 2nd place in my group.

We had a busy day of doing this and that. We had a fun time doing this and that.
