Deary Day
We had an overcast day with sprinkles now and then. The high was 84 degrees.
I started the day out by making cinnamon rolls for breakfast. We sat around and visited for awhile. Roberta and her dog Liberty didn't have to be at the Bell County Expo Center until 10:00.
About 9:30 Paul and Roberta loaded up their dogs, Liberty and Wiley into their truck and headed towards the expo center. We left a little bit later. Roberta and Liberty were competing in four dog agility events. We showed up and were surprised there were no bleachers for the audience. They had removed them because of Covid and never brought them back. Paul went back to the truck and got chairs for us to sit in.
It was a smaller group of participants than we have seen in the past. There were two courses and one judge. The process is the handlers walk through the course to get a feel for the course, this last eight minutes. The standard course had 14-20 obstacles, which included tunnels, weaving poles, jumps, seesaw, tables, rings and more. The other course had more jumps, a couple of jumps and weaving poles. The event had all types of breeds and sizes. They adjusted the height of the poles by the size of dog. Liberty jumps were 16" high. The event was a three day event but Roberta only signed up for one day.
It was an all day event. We watched two of the events Liberty was in. In between the events Larry and Paul visited with each other. Paul had to leave for a few hours to meet up with a friend in Cedar Park. So we kept Roberta company for a little while.

After the two events Larry and I walked over to another building where they were having the San Antonio Miniature Pony event. We saw a lot of beautiful horses.

Both buildings were air conditioned so it was very comfortable for everyone. We had a great time. When Roberta, Paul, Liberty and Wiley came back to the house Liberty had won three first place ribbons and one third place ribbon. She had a super day and Roberta did an excellent job of handling her.
I made a bake for dinner and we had Edwards Turtle Creme Pie for dessert. We spent the rest of the day visiting with Paul and Roberta. We played pinball. This was the first time Paul and Roberta heard of or saw virtual pinball. We all had fun playing.

When everyone went to bed I played the Solitaire Event, which was Event: The Hard Road of 16 games. It took me 8 hours, 47 minutes and 18 seconds, which put me in 10th place in my group. Oops, it actually didn't take that long but I forgot to logout of the games.
