Wednesday 10-28 Gorgeous Day

Awesome Day

The day started out cold and rainy but by the afternoon the sun came out, which made the day gorgeous. The temperature in the morning was in the high 30's by dinnertime it was 54 degrees.

We started the day out by going to town and running errands. The first stop was The Dollar Tree to pick up a few things. Then we went across the street to Walmart. Last week Larry bought a pair of sweat pants and he wanted to get another pair, they were sold out of everything but XXL, I guess the cold weather drove lots of sales. We didn't leave empty handed, we picked up a few grocery items and some hardware things. Then we went to The UPS Store to pick up our mail. The next stop was Target to get some more chili we like. The last stop was Michael's, which was right next door to buy some cardstock paper for Larry's projects, it was a special buy 1 pack and get 2 packs free. I went inside Walmart and Target with Larry, it was very early and there were not many people in the stores.

Running Errands

We attended three virtual square dances. The first dance was Dayle Hodge's Weekly A2 dance at 11:00 for an hour. Dayle had 26 participants. Dayle called four tips. He did an outstanding job of calling and cued through out the dance. He walked us through moves we were having problem with. We met his new puppy. We had a great time.

The second dance was Ken Burke"s Weekly A2 dance at 5:30 for an hour. Ken had 11 participants, which was a small group but we had fun. Ken called three tips and put us in positions using side phantoms along with our normal phantom couple. Ken did a good job of calling.

The third dance was Doren McBroom's Weekly C1 dance at 6:30 for an hour and a half. Doren had 14 participants, he called five tips. Doren did a great job and put us in challenging positions. We had a small group and had a lot of fun.

In between the dances Larry made another ornament. I played Solitaire games. I did the Daily Challenges and the Event: Medium Mayhem Mini of 15 games. It took me 1 hour, 14 minutes and 53 seconds, which put me in 27th place in my group. We watched YouTube videos.

After the last dance we watched a couple episodes of Warehouse 13. When Larry went to bed I watched Mentalist. I ended up doing 27,000 steps, which put me in fourth place in my group.
