4-5 Date Night?

Cinemark Theater in Temple

A lot of couples have one night a week they call date night. You know, this is where they hire a baby sitter and go out on a date or if they don't have children they still go out on a date. Well, Larry and I always do everything together so we have never felt the need for a date night, however, I guess you could say we had a date day today. Every Tuesday in Temple the theaters have a deal where you can attend a movie for the grand sum of $5 per person, what a deal. This morning Larry surprised me by taking me to see Eye In The Sky. It is a British thriller starring Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul, Alan Rickman and Barkhad Abdi. It was a good movie and the acting was super. After the movie we went to Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburger for lunch. We have been wanting to go to Freddy's every since it opened a month or so ago but it has always been incredibly busy. Today on the way home we saw that it wasn't too busy so we stopped and had lunch. The food was very good and we had a really great sundae. Service was also excellent but the place was loud.

Mowing the yard

When we got home I mowed the yard while Larry weedeated and blew things off and Flo sunned. It took us about an hour. Afterwards we cooled off and relaxed.

Watching television

In the evening we watched our Sunday night shows Call the Midwife and Grantchester via the Roku and the PBS app. Afterwards we watched three episodes of Newsroom. We had a fun day.
