4-9 Super Saturday

LIFE IS GOOD!!!

We started the day out doing our morning routine, which was Larry taking Flo for a walk and having breakfast. Our morning workshop wasn’t until 10:30 so Larry read and I did some Sudoku. During the morning workshop we had 10 squares. Jerry spent the morning working on different kinds of circulating and running. He introduced us to a old move called derby. The centers trade while the ends fold either behind or in front of the center. After the trade the centers spread and the ends move up to make a wave. Once you figure out what is required it wasn’t hard to do. It was a lot of fun. The afternoon workshop was at 1:30 so we had an hour and a half to relax. Our friends went out to lunch but Larry and I went back to the Minnie to spend some time with Flo and have lunch.

After lunch Larry read some more and I took Flo for a walk and did some more Sudoku. The afternoon workshop was for an hour and we worked on circulating and running. Jerry taught us scoot back one and a half and circulate one and a half. He also walked through circulating with facing lines. After the workshop Jerry called a half hour DBD dance. Larry was tried so one of the tips I danced with our friend Larry. The second tip I sat out, we had a super time. After the dance and workshop we had a few hours to relax before the evening dance.

Jerry Story calling the Saturday night dance

In the evening we attended a fantastic dance. It had 11 squares and round dancers. We danced with a lot of good dancers. A couple of tips were very fast and fun. There were more dancers last night than tonight but they were all full of energy. We did a lot of dancing today and are very tired but we had an outstanding time.
