Tuesday 8-11 Busy Day of Dancing

Busy Dancing

We had a hot day with temperatures in the low 100's.

In morning we went to town to get our mail, we hadn't been to The UPS Store for a couple of weeks. On the way home we stopped by Jack 'n' Jill to buy a couple of donuts.

You got mail

We spent the day virtual square dancing. We attended three dances. The first dance was at 11:00, it was Dayle Hodge's weekly Plus dance. This week Dayle is co-calling with Don Moger, they are calling their dances Hawaiian dances in celebration of a Hawaiian Square Dancing Curse next year. Larry and I wore Hawaiian shirts. We had 63 people zoomed in. The dance was for an hour and was a lot of fun. Dayle and Don rotated tips, Dayle would call a tip and Don would call a tip. They called four tips. The last tip they called together, one called one call and then the other would call a call. Everyone had a great time dancing to both Dayle Hodge and Don Moger.

The second dance was a two hour weekly dance, the first hour A1 and the second hour A2 with a 15 minutes break in between. Di Green and her partner called the dance out of England. The dance was at 1:30 pm our time and 7:30 pm England time. For the A1 hour we had 32 people zoomed in and for the A2 hour we had 25 zoomed in. Di and her partner did a super job of calling. They kept the dancing moving and fun. They put some in sine complexity but not too hard where you spend your whole time broken down. We had a fantastic afternoon of dancing to Di Green.

The third dance was Don Moger's weekly A2 dance at 6:00. The dance was an hour and a half. We had 85 people zoomed in. Don called six tips and we had fun. The dance wasn't too complex because we had a few people zoomed in for the first time.

After Larry went to bed I watched Rush Hour and Rush Hour 2. I ended up doing 21,800 steps, which put me in fifth place in my group.
