Tuesday 7-7 Busy Morning

We had a terrific Tuesday

We had overcast skies and a few sprinkles here and there. The temperature didn't get out of the low 80's.

There was a breeze in the morning so after breakfast we decided to go for a walk. We drove to Crossroads Park and walked the path around the park. We were the only ones walking, I guess it was because it was 9:00 am. The breeze kept us cool.

Yesterday, we received a message from a square dancing friend, Char Larson telling us that Dayle Hodge had added a few virtual dances. Tuesdays at 11:00 he was calling a 2-couple square dance for Plus, Wednesdays at 11:00 he was calling a 2-couple square dance for A2 and Thursdays at 11:00 he was calling a 2-couple square dance for C1. So we put the dances on our calendar.

We attended the 11:00 Plus dance this morning. We had 47 people there. Some of our friends (Mary, Beverley and Gary) from Marble Falls and Nancy from New Braunfels were there for the first time. It was great to see them. Dayle did an awesome job of calling. He cued through the entire dance, this helped out a lot. The dancers could keep track of the phantom couple and he cued the move to get everyone in the right place. When the dancers were having problems Dayle walked us through the move. It was a great dance and we had a super time.

The dance was during the time we usually have lunch, but that was ok, we just had lunch after the dance. After eating we went to town to pick up our mail. We had three packages waiting for us. One was a face shield Larry had ordered and a couple of items from Wish.

When we got home I did my daily challenges and The Event: Two Game Tango Mini, which was 3 games of Klondike and 3 games of Tri Peaks. It took me 11 minutes and 40 seconds to complete, which put me in 13th place in my group.

After doing my computer games I worked out using the two programs on Amazon. The first program was Fitnation: Sexy Core Workout. It was the sixth episode. The episode concentrated on your whole body, it had squats and lungs to work on your legs and upper and cross punches to work on your arms. It was for 20 minutes. Matt Titus did the episode and had Mary doing the beginner level and Marian doing the advance level. Some of the episode I did the beginner level and some of it a higher level, but not advanced. It was a good workout. The second program was 21 Day Transformation: At Home Yoga Stretch for 20 minutes. Julia Bognar hosted the program. It was a great workout because I don't stretch like I should.

Having fun working out

In the evening before watching television we squared danced for an hour and a half to an A2 tape by Johnny Preston. Then we watched an episode of Midsomer Murders. Then I finished the first season of Line of Duty and started the second season. I did 28,000 steps.
