Awesome Day of Dancing
We had an awesome day of dancing.
The morning temperature was 76 degrees and it got up to 102 degrees.
When we were driving to Liberty Hill we noticed a lot of smoke in the air. Larry Googled where the smoke was coming from. It said it was coming in from the fires in Washington. We're planning to start our fall trip in a couple of weeks but if the smoke doesn't clear out we may have to put it off.
We started the day out by attending Di Green and Terry McCann's weekly A2 dance at 10:00 am for an hour. Di called five tips to 12 participants. Terry danced most of the dance with Di. Larry danced four of the tips with me. When the dancers were having problems with a move Di would walk us through it. We had a super time dancing to Di and Terry and with friends.
After the dance we had lunch. We did not have a C1 session so we didn't have to be at the Ski's house until 1:00 pm. We left the house at 11:30 am and we got to Ski's house at 12:40 pm. This week the Ski's were out of town but they asked their daughter to open the house for the dance. It is so nice of the Ski's to open their home for the dance. We used cards this week and we had enough dancers for seven couples and an extra dancer. John Kephart called the dance for two hours, he asked John Carlson to call a tip. John Kephart is going to be in Japan for three weeks so John Carlson will cover for him. John Carlson needed to practice because he doesn't call A often. He did a good job of calling the tip. We rested for a couple of tips. John worked on All Four Couples Do The Right Square Thru and a Left Relay The Deucey. We had a fun afternoon of dancing to John Kephart and with friends.

In between the dances Larry continued experiments on his new mini computer. He also working on our movies.
I played games. I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Medium Mayhem Mini of 5 games. It took me 21 minutes and 28 seconds to complete, which put me in 27th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.
I played ten games of pinball. I played five on the mini cabinet, which were Ace of Speed, Batman Forever, Dr. No, Lord of the Rings and No Fear. I played five games on the big cabinet, which were Beetlejuice, Big Buck Hunter Pro, Elvira House of Horrors Blood Red Kiss, Transformers and World Poker Joker. While playing Transformers I became Grand Champion.
In the evening we watched the next super hero movie for our movies collection, which was Captain America: The Winter Soldier. After Larry went to bed I watched the next Harry Potter movie from our movies collection, which was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I ended up doing 3,000 steps.
I worked on the Horse of Iron jigsaw puzzle.
