Busy day
We had a busy day doing this and that.
This morning I had an appointment for a mammogram. It was very busy. There were about 15 of us waiting. The actual mammogram only took about five minutes. The workers were very friendly and told you exactly what they were doing.
On the way home we filled the car with gas and then went to Walmart to do our weekly grocery shopping.
Grocery shopping
I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before I went to bed. After lunch I did the Event: Two Game Tango of 20 games (10 Spider and 10 Pyramid). It took me 2 hour, 37 minutes and 10 seconds, which put me in 15th place in my group.
Larry kept busy doing some projects. He put bleach in the septic system. The tags are due on the motorcycle so yesterday Larry took it to Valvoline Instant Oil Change to get it inspected.
After getting the motorcycle inspected he went online and paid for the tags. The state changed the process and he had to setup an account. It was a pain and didn't work at the beginning. He tried a couple of times and it finally worked.
When Larry took the motorcycle to have it inspected it was not running very well so while we were at Walmart he picked up some fuel additive. Before adding the additive to the fuel Larry drained the old fuel out and replaced it with fresh fuel. He put the old fuel in the truck. After filling it with new fuel and the additive he took it for a ride. It seems to run much better.
Motorcycle projects
Before putting the motorcycle back in the garage Larry blew the garage out.
The Minnie is old and it did not come with a tire air pressure monitor
system. Years ago Larry installed an aftermarket monitor and last summer
he updated to a newer model that could monitor all 6 tires. A few weeks
ago we had the tires rotated and the next morning we had two flat
tires. To install the air pressure sensors Larry had to use valve
extensions and he discovered the seals on the extensions had gone bad.
The seals were plastic and due to removing and reinstalling them
multiple times they became damaged. He had some extra pieces laying
around that had rubber seals, today he removed those seals and used them
in the current extensions, this worked. Fortunately when the tires went
flat we were at home where we have a large air compressor so Larry
could easily refill them. We have had the tires rotated multiple times
while we are on extended trips, it would have been terrible to wake up
in some remote campground with two flat tires.
In the evening I attended a virtual square dance. It was Ett McAtee's Weekly A2/C1 at 6:30. She was scheduled to call an in person dance so she asked Loren Smith to call for her this week. Loren called five tips of A2 with 22 participants and one tip of class level C1 with 21 participants. I had an outstanding time.
After the dance we watched a documentary on IMDb TV called Lucy & Desi. It was about Lucy Ball and Desi Arnaz. It was very good. Afterwards I watched a few episodes of Sister Boniface Mysteries. Then I read a little bit. I ended up doing 26,000 steps, which put me in 3rd place in my group.
