Thursday 3-11 Wonderful Thursday

We had a wonderful day. It was windy and overcast with the high of 76 degrees.

We started the day out by going to the oral surgeon for a follow up. Larry had a tooth removed last week and the doctor wanted to make sure everything was going well, which it was. On the way to the oral surgeon we stopped by the UPS Store to pick up our mail. As of yesterday Texas no longer has a mask mandate but most businesses are still requiring mask and most people are wearing one.

We attended two virtual square dances. First was Dayle Hodge's Weekly C1 at 11:00 for an hour. We had 28 participants. Dayle called four tips. He cued the moves which helps a lot because it helps me get in the right place. We had a great time dancing to Dayle and with friends.

The second one was Jeremy Butler's Weekly A2/C1 at 6:00 for an hour. This Jeremy invited Tom Miller to come and call with him. They called four tips of A2 and Jeremy called a C1 tip. During the A2 session we had 25 participants and 18 for the C1 tip. We had a super evening.

We don't plan to use the Minnie for a couple of weeks because it's Spring Break in Texas and the campgrounds are full so we decided to take it back to storage.

We have a transition strip that separates the laminate flooring in the living room and the ceramic tile in the hall, I keep kicking the strip and hitting it with the vacuum and end up making it come up. In the afternoon Larry re-glued it back down. Then he moved on to another home project. The marble wall in the second bath's shower has come loose. A few weeks ago Larry put a couple of poles on the walls to hold them together. This worked because the wall had resealed but he decided to put in a couple of screws to help keep the wall in place. He was going to re-caulk the edges but the tube of caulk he had was dried out so he'll have to purchase a new tube.

While Larry was doing the couple of home projects I did the Daily Challenges and the Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Pyramid and 3 Tri Peaks). It took me 33 minutes and 39 seconds, which put me in 35th place in my group.

After the last dance we watched a few episodes of Downton Abbey. I started to watch a series called Perception on IMDb TV. It's a crime series about a neuropsychiatrist professor, Dr. Daniel Pierce works with the FBI to solve murders. I ended up doing 27,500 steps, which put me in third place in my group.
