Have fun with friends
We had a fantastic Friday with a lot of sunshine. It was a little cool with the high at 65 degrees and a lite breeze.
I started the day out by going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned. I'm on a four month schedule because my pockets are a little too deep. I had a great appointment, the hygienist said my gums look great except for the lower left side. She said a couple of the pockets were a little deeper than she wants them. But she was pleased to report there was no bleeding. Here in Texas the governor removed the mask mandate but it seems most companies still have mask are required signs. I think probably 90% of the people are still wearing masks. The dentist office was no exception, everyone had to wear mask.

While I was getting my teeth cleaned Larry was crafting with Leo from Dreaming Tree. He is working on a new paper project. Because there are a lot of pieces to assemble Leo's video is almost two hours long, he does a step by step presentation on the project. It actually takes much longer than the two hours but you can simply pause the video and restart when you want. Larry really enjoys crafting with Leo.

We attended two virtual square dances. The first one was Dayle Hodge's Weekly Four Couple A1/A2 at 11:00 for an hour. During the A1 session we had 35 participants and A2 had 32 participants. Dayle does an outstanding job of cueing and walking through people who are having trouble. He is very patient with us. The format of the dance was two A1 tips and two A2 tips. We had a super time dancing to Dayle and with friends.
The second one was Di Green's Weekly C1 Workshop at 3:00 for an hour and a half. This week it was an hour later because of Daylight Saving Time and the UK hasn't changed yet. They will in a couple of weeks. We had 36 participants. Di workshopped Concentric Concepts, Finish Moves and Interrupt With Moves. She is very good at walking dancers through moves they are having problems with. She called six tips and in each tip she called four couple material. This is great because when we get back to square dancing in person we need to know the full square moves. We had an awesome afternoon of square dancing.
In the evening we went to the storage center to get the Minnie because we're going on a camping trip for a few days at Lake Georgetown Cedar Breaks Campground. We started watching the third season of Downton Abbey. I watched a few episodes of Star Trek: Voyager Season 2. I ended up doing 27,800 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.
