Wednesday 7-1-26 Two Virtual Dances & Just Having Fun

It's Wednesday have fun

We had a great day. It was hot with the morning temperature of 77 degrees and the high of 97 degrees.

I attended two virtual square dances. First was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 10:00 for an hour and fifteen minutes. Di called five tips to 11 participants. Terry danced the first tip with Di and Larry danced four tips with me. He danced to help the dancers to know where they should be as a man. Di continued to work on the A1 moves, that were moved to plus. She called Partner Hinge, Quarter Thru, Left Quarter Thru and Pass the Sea. She also worked shopped Relay The Deucey from both right handed and left handed. She called a lot of Cross Fires. We had a great time dancing with people from the U.K. and United States.

Second was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:00 for an hour and a half. He called the dance by himself because Karin Rabe, Greg Moore and Dave Hutchinson were in Montreal Canada for 2026 IAGSDG Convention. While we were dancing Cindy and Barry logged in to say hi and Karin, Greg, Dave and his wife were with them. It was a pleasant surprise. They weren't at the dance too long because their Trail In Dance was beginning. The format was three tips of C1 to 6 participants from Australia and the U.S., three tips of A2 to 7 participants from Australia and the U.S. and two Trivia questions in between the A2 tips. The second tip of A2 David Boney (one of the dancers) called a sequency and he did a great job. Dave finished up the tip. I had a great time dancing with friends and visiting in between tips.

I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: The Hard Road of 16 games. It took me 1 hour, 57 minutes and 46 seconds to complete, which put me in 13th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

Larry worked on improving a couple of  movies from our collection.

I played eight games of pinball. I played four games on the mini cabinet, which was Ace of Speed, Jaws, Michael and Willy Wonka. I didn't get on the board on the games but had a great time trying. I played four games on the big cabinet, which were Game of Thrones, Mustang, No Fear and The Godfather. While playing No Fear I became high score #2. I had fun playing pinball on both cabinets.

Ace of Speed (Mini)

Jaws (Mini)

Michael (Mini)

Willy Wonka (Mini)

Game of Thrones (Big)

Mustang (Big)

No Fear (Big)

The Godfather (Big)

We watched YouTube videos.

After Dave's dance we watched The Return on Hoopla. It was a slow moving movie and not that bad. When Larry went to bed I watched The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. I ended up doing 3,000 steps for the day.
