Saturday 7-5-26 New Pinball Challenge & Having Fun

 


Just having fun


We had a fun day of hanging around the house and keeping cool. We didn't have anything on our agenda and was too hot to hang outside. The morning temperature was 77 degree and got up to 100 degrees and the skies were mostly sunny.

Larry kept busy. First he went outside and treated for weeds in the gravel and around the yards. Next he took the motorcycle for a ride. He hadn't done it for awhile and he wanted to make sure it ran good. He drove it to Rogers Park boat ramp in Morgan Point. He was surprised that it wasn't busy because it was Sunday on the July 4th weekend. Then he worked on some movies.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 10 games (5 Free Cell and 5 Pyramid). It took me 38 minutes and 38 seconds to complete, which put me in 12th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

I worked out for 31 minutes with the Wii Fit. I had the Wii Fit choose a routine for me. The routine was for 25 minutes but I had internet problems so I only did 23 minutes of it. That was ok I did another 8 minutes to complete the workout. I redid two the of the 12 exercises the Wii Fit had on it's routine. The routine was 2 exercises from Aerobics (Basic Run and Super Hula Hoop), 2 exercises from Strength Training (Single-Leg Extension 6 reps and Single-Leg Twist 10 reps), 4 exercises from Training Plus (Bird's Eye Bull's Eye, Island Cycling, Perfect 10 and Rhythm Kung Fu) and 4 exercises from Yoga (Chair, Half Moon, Palm Tree and Sun Salutation). The exercises I redid were Bird's Eye Bull's Eye and Rhythm Kung Fu for 4 minutes. I did Perfect 10 three times for 4 minutes to complete my workout. I had a great workout.

I played ten games of pinball.

I played five games on the mini cabinet, which were Fast Break, Michael, Monster Bash, No Good Goffers! and The Goonies. While playing Fast Break I entered my initials as high score in playing Milwaukee Bucks with 151 points. While playing Monster Bash I became high score #3.

I played five games on the big cabinet, which were Apollo 13, Big Bang Bar, Big Buck Hunter Pro, Game of Thrones and The Beach Boys. I started by playing the weekly challenges because a new challenge started today. I played Game of Thrones to get a new high score for last week's challenge but failed. I had fun trying. My ending score was 336,583,630, which put me in 50th place out of 94 participants. This week's challenge is Apollo 13. My first high score is 857,133,440, which put me in 7th place out of 14 participants so far. Then I played the other three games. I didn't get on the board but had a great time trying.

Larry was working on the movies Sheep Detectives, How to Train Your Dagon and Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom.

In the evening we watched Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom. When Larry went to bed I watched Suicide Squad and 101 Dalmatians from our movies collection. I ended up doing 3,000 steps.
