Thursday 7-12 A Wonderful Day On Belton Lake

What a wonderful day!!!

I woke up feeling good. We got the boat ready and we were on the lake by 9:00 am. There was a little breeze but the lake wasn't terribly rough. We started out by wakeboarding, then we wake surfed and finally we did a set of Air Chairing. While Larry was getting ready to Air Chair a small plane flew by close to the water. We only saw a few fishermen otherwise we had our own private lake. After doing our water sports we loaded the boat on the trailer and wiped it down.

By the time we got home the lawn crew was mowing the yard, normally they don't arrive until late in the day. After they left Larry blew out the garage and cleaned the eves around the front of the house. After lunch we went back to the motorcycle seat project. Yesterday Larry had used fabric glue to join a section of the seat together, we let it dry until this morning and it didn't work. So he cleaned the pieces and re-glued them with contact cement, this worked perfectly. Next we worked on the other side of the seat. When I finished sewing the seat cover Larry ironed the winkles out of the seat cover. Now the seat cover is ready to be stapled on the seat. We'll do this tomorrow.

In the evening we went to Sun City to dance with the Sundancers. Larry and Patricia were out of town so we went by ourselves. We had enough people for two squares and three extra couples. We had a special treat tonight, Bob was there and he called a few tips. We had a great time.
