Saturday 7-7 Rain Front

Super Day

The clouds rolled in and out all day. In the afternoon there was thunder and we got a little rain, just enough to wet the roads. The front kept the temperature in the mid 90s and it's supposed to be in the mid to low 90s for a few days.

Larry continued working on the motorcycle seat. He has the foam cut down to where it's almost flat. The next step is to get the foam on the front and tank area flatter. We have some foam that we used on another project that he was going to use but he would like a firmer foam. We looked at Walmart and didn't find anything that was firm so we headed to Hobby Lobby where we bought a piece of foam. When we got home he discovered the foam we already had felt just as firm. He decided that he will work with the foam we already have and take the other foam back to Hobby Lobby.

While Larry worked on his project I worked on my puzzle. When it was time for dinner I baked another new dish from All Recipes called Parmesan-Crusted Pork Chops. It's very easy to make you only need an egg, Parmesan cheese, Cajun seasoning and boneless pork chops. Once you coat the pork chops bake them for 40 minutes. They came out excellent.

While Larry was outside sanding the foam for the seat (it is an extremely messy job so he has to do it outside) our neighbor pulled up and talked for a bit. He asked if we liked murder mystery movies. I love watching these, the majority of the shows I stay up and watch are murder mysteries. He said they had recently watched the new Murder on the Orient Express and it was excellent so tonight we watched it via Amazon. It was loaded with big stars, the makeup and costumes was very good, some of the actors were very hard to recognize. After watching the movie we watched an episode of The Last Post. We had a relaxing evening.
