What should we do next? |
Um, let me think, what should we do next?
There was a small breeze this morning and I didn't feel like going to the lake so Larry got the motorcycle ready to go for a ride, he had to bolt the seat back on. Then we went for a ride to check out how the seat modifications worked. The original seat sloped down and I was constantly sliding forward, with the modifications it is now much flatter. We drove to town and filled the motorcycle up with gas and then we returned to the house. We drove about 20 miles and the seat worked great.

When we got back home Larry decided to start another project. We have hard shell waterski bindings and the liners in them are a bit small for Larry. The liners are heat moldable so he bought some wooden shoe stretchers to mold the linings. To mold the foam linings you heat them up in the oven then you put the linings in the bindings and put your foot in the linings. As the linings cool off they form to your foot and the binding. Larry used the same process except he put the wooden shoe stretchers in the lining instead of his foot while it cooled down. The liners didn't come out as good as he hoped so he is modifying the the wooden shoe stretcher by adding a piece of wood at the area he wants bigger. He had to glue a piece on the stretcher and now he will have to sand it to shape. Might be a couple of days until he completes this.

In the afternoon we watched our weekly GizWiz show and YouTube videos. For dinner I made another new dish called Karen Taco Pasta. It's an easy dish to make. You need any type of pasta, ground beef, taco seasoning, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, olives, salt and pepper. I used spaghetti, substituted Italian sausage for ground beef and substituted salsa for tomatoes. The dish came out very tasty.
In the evening we watched a last two movies of Suspicions of Mr. Whicher. The movies were Beyond the Pale and The Ties that Bind. It was a very well done detective series. I enjoyed watching the series. We had a wonderful day.
