Boating on Belton Lake |
We woke up to a little breeze and overcast skies but we needed to test the boat after Larry worked on it. My husband is a genius, he solved the missing in the engine, it runs perfect. To work on the boat he had to remove our water toys, before we left the house we put the wakeboard back in. After driving the boat around a bit we both did a set of wakeboarding. The lake wasn't as flat as yesterday but it wasn't too bad. We had a super time at the lake.

During lunch a weather front came in and we got a little bit of rain. Larry was hoping to continue working on his motorcycle seat project but the sanding has to be done outside and the rain prevented this. He is still trying to figure out what to do about the tank section of the seat foam. He has some pieces of firm foam that was used for packing. He took a couple of the pieces and glued them together with contact cement. He might glue more of the pieces together and use that.
The next project was the Alexa in his workroom. Awhile back he had it working where when he entered in the room all he had to say was Alexa turn on the lights and all the lights came on. A few weeks ago this quit working. It took a bit but he discovered a change was implemented that stopped the light switch from working with the command, he was able to correct this and it now works like it did before.
While Larry did his projects I worked on my puzzle. I took a little nap. After my nap I made Sweet Teriyaki Skewers for dinner.
My puzzle so far |
In the evening we went to Sun City to dance with the Sundancers and Brad Caldwell. We had five squares. Brad changed it up a little by doing one mainstream tip with six couples in the hexagon shape, where there were three side couples and three head couples. It was very fun. We had a super time dancing.
