Welcome Spring |
Spring is officially here. During this time of the year here in Texas we have fields and fields of gorgeous wildflowers. Texas's state flower is the bluebonnet. Due to all the rain we had earlier this year we are having a great year for bluebonnets and other wildflowers. We drive a lot so we have already noticed the wildflowers. The hill country in Central Texas is known for all the wildflowers. As we drove around the hill country this weekend we weren't disappointed. Some areas had miles and miles of tremendous wildflowers making it a beautiful drive. We really didn't have to drive through the hill country to see the blue bonnets we just had to drive around Temple.

It was a beautiful morning with a little breeze so we loaded Flo into the car and headed to town. We drive a lot and the front of the car was covered with bugs. Larry was tried of looking at a filthy car so we stopped at our neighborhood car wash. It was bought out by Mister Car Wash a few months ago so customers no longer get a $2.00 early bird discount for being there before 10:00 am so we didn't care what time it was. We got the least expensive wash which is $5.00, it doesn't come with removing the bugs but when we were entering into the wash the employee sprayed down the front end to remove the bugs. Larry thanked him and we continued through the car wash. After the wash we wiped down the car and removed most of the bugs and tar that was still on the hood.
Next stop was Walmart. Larry wants to change the oil and filter in the Minnie before we leave on our Spring Trip so he had to buy the oil and filter. Now we have what he needs the only thing left to get is the Minnie.
In the afternoon I vacuumed the house and worked on my puzzle. I made time to workout for an hour using Just Dance and the Wii Fit. Larry read.

After dinner Larry and I went to Sun City to attend the Sundancers weekly dance. Dan Clairmont called for Brad Caldwell tonight. There were five squares and a few extra dancers.
