Hi Everyone. |
I'm so excited about going on our spring camping trip, we should be gone for six to eight weeks. We try to take two trips like this each year but last year due to taking "A" level square dancing lessons we were unable to do this. Now that we're finished it's time to get back on the road. Today we kept busy doing this and that getting ready for the trip.
We started the day off going grocery shopping. Before going to town Larry asked if I wanted to go shopping before the rain or wait until after the front leaves. I decided to go before the front. The first stop was HEB. We picked up most of what we needed except for the few things they didn't carry. As we were going to the car it started to rain. By the time we got to the car the rain was coming down hard. Larry held the umbrella while I put the groceries in the back of the car. By the time I finished the rain had stopped.

The next stop was across the street to The UPS Store to put our mail on hold. Then we went to Walmart which is located in the same shopping center as The UPS Store. We picked up the rest of the groceries we needed plus a few more things we needed for the trip.
When we got home I put the groceries away and then I made lunch. While we were eating the rain started again.
Larry's shoes were shot and he wanted to buy a new pair. He got them at Academy Sports and Outdoors so he called them to see if they had any in stock. They had a couple pairs so they put one on hold for him. When the rain stopped we went back to town and picked up the shoes.
On the way home we stopped and picked up a few valve stem extensions for the tires on the Minnie at NAPA. Then we swung into Freddy's and had a Hawaiian Delight sundae.
Once at home I started to load up the Minnie with food. I worked on this for a couple of hours before calling it a day. Then I barbecued Elgin hot sausages for dinner.
In the evening we watched YouTube videos and one of our DVDs off of Google Play called Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them.
