Monday 1-16 Back to Dancing

Friendship Circle
After a great weekend we got back to dancing with friends old and new. The first dance was at 10:00 with Bronc Wise. We had a pleasant surprise when a few more of our friends from Marble Falls and Austin showed up to dance. Bronc had 11 squares and two extra couples. We had to sit out one tip which gave me the opportunity to take a few pictures. In between the square dancing tips the dancers visited with each other. Overall we were in great squares. I made a few more mistakes than normal, I got confused and got turned around or didn't do the whole move. It's hard to concentrate after you make a mistake because you're think about why or how you made the mistake. We still had a great time.

When we returned to Flo we had lunch and then I took her for a walk.

Last night we thought that Sherlock on PBS was on at 8:00 but a new series was starting and for some reason they had put Sherlock on at 6:00 so we missed it. According to the Austin PBS schedule they were going to show it again at 10 so we decided to watch it then but the PBS station here in the valley showed Austin City Limits instead. So this afternoon we went to McAllen Library to stream it via the internet. While we were there we also watched a few of the YouTube video channels we follow. We were there a few hours.

When we got home I made tacos for dinner. After dinner I took Flo for another walk, by the time we got home it was time for me to get ready to go square dancing once again. On Monday nights we dance at Pharr South to Randy Dougherty. Once again he had four squares and a few more people. Tonight the dance was a little rough considering many of the dancers were new A dancers. Randy had a lot of patience with us. In between the square dancing tips Ron Woolcock cued round dancing. We still had fun dancing with friends. I didn't take any pictures because we had to dance every tip. We had a busy fun day.
