Busy loading the Minnie |
Tomorrow is when we head out to Waco for the Texas State Square Dance Festival so we were busy getting things done. This morning we went grocery shopping. Before we went to HEB we stopped by Sunbelt RV to get a vent cap for the Minnie, we lost one somewhere, they simply slip into the vent pipes and it is really easy for a tree limb to knock them off. The good news is they are easy to replace and not expensive. Most items for RV's cost more than they should and if you want it right away you have to break down and buy it at a RV Store. After grocery shopping we went home. Once at the house I put the groceries away. Larry worked on odds and ends on the Minnie to get it ready for our trip.

After lunch I made enchiladas and a noodle casserole to take with us on our trip. While making the food I did laundry. Once the laundry was done I loaded up the Minnie for the trip.

In the evening we relaxed and watched television. We streamed some YouTube videos on water skiing on a private lake and a family video on slalom skiing. We watched videos on modifying RV's. Then we watched a documentary on Stevie Ray Vaughan called Rise of a Texas Bluesman. It was about Stevie Ray Vaughan's career and how he has influenced the history of Texas blues. It was a good documentary, we learned more about Stevie Ray Vaughan. We have some of his cds and enjoy listening to them when we travel. He was a very talented musician. We had a busy day.
