Flo and me at Temple Lake Park |
We have never had to trim Flo's nails. When she was younger we use to take her on hikes and longer walks so the nails just stayed worn down. Now days she can't walk as far so her toenails were so long that when she walked you could hear her nails clicking on the floor. Last night while we were relaxing Larry got his Dermal tool out and filed her nails down. She laid under the desk and let Larry used his tool on her nails. He had the tool on the lowest speed and was very gentle with her. Now you can't hear her when she walks
We had some leftover ribs from yesterday so this morning I put them in a crock pot to heat them up for lunch. When we had our yard put in while the house was being built the landscaping company was suppose to come back and roll the sod evenly but the company never came back so the yard is rough and has big dips in it. Larry is tired of mowing the yard and bouncing all the time so he called a landscaping company and setup an appointment for them to come out today at 11:00. We hung around the house and the gentleman from the company showed up right on time. He told Larry that he would have to get back with him on how much it would cost. He told Larry he would have to bring in sand and cover the sod so we should wait for the yard to get stronger. After the gentleman left we had ribs for lunch.
After lunch I took Flo for a walk around the neighborhood. It was humid so by the time we got back home she was exhausted. While hanging around the house I finished reading The Skull Beneath The Skin by P.D. James. It was very good book about a female private investigator. Larry worked on my annual book to get it ready for print.
