getting back to a normal routine |
We woke up to another beautiful day. It was a little cooler this morning, it was in 60s. The day started with Larry moving the Minnie to the side of the house and then we loaded Flo into the car and headed to town to do a few errands. We have lived in Belton a little over two years and we love living here. We went down to the Appraisal District to pay our property tax bill, walked in to find one person in front of us, the personnel was very friendly and we were out within a few minutes. Next stop was the post office to start our mail back up, once again no line, simply walked up to the counter, greeted by the friendly postal employee, got our mail and restarted the service, only took a couple of minutes and we were on our way. We love small towns. Last stop was HEB to do some grocery shopping.
After lunch I took a short nap and then we went to Louise's in Round Rock. She had to work last night and she has been working a lot of overtime, we didn't get to her house until 4 and she was just getting up, we don't know how she does it, she works 16 hours shifts, gets home by 2:30 and then she goes back to work by 10. Before getting there we stopped by Papa Murphy's and got a pizza. Larry's in the process of ordering a back door for her house and needed to make sure he had the right measurements before ordering it. While there Flo and Autumn hung out with each other while Larry, Louise and I visited. After dinner we said our good-byes and then we headed back to the house. We had a great visit.
When we got home we watched three episodes of Newsroom. We had a relaxing evening.
