House Cleaning |
Usually when I talk about cleaning the house it's vacuuming, cleaning the bathrooms and washing the floors but not this time. When ever we go on a trip for a month or two the spiders decide it's time to make a mess. This morning it was nice and cool outside so Larry decided he would blow the cobwebs off the eaves of the house, out of the garage and off the front and back porches. While he was doing this I got rid of the cobwebs in the house. Then I went behind him and removed the cobwebs he couldn't get with the blower with a broom. Flo sheds all the time and her fur is so fine that it floats all over the place so when he was blowing the cobwebs he blow her fur out of the garage.
After getting rid of the cobwebs Larry did another house project. When the house was built the plumbers put a clean out opening on the side of the house in case there was a plumbing problem and you have a way to clean out the plumbing. But when the foundation was poured the concrete almost completely covered it so Larry decided it was time to clean it up. He used a grinder with a concrete grinding wheel, he had two wheels and they wore down and he couldn't finish the project. He figured he could get the wheel at Harbor Freight. We loaded up into the car and off to Harbor Freight we went. While we were in town we stopped by The Home Depot for a few items Larry needed to do his next home project, which is putting in a new duct fan to move air out of the garage. The Home Depot didn't have everything so we went to Lowe's and got the items there. Flo went with us to town. By the time we got home it was starting to get warm so Larry decided to finish his project tomorrow.

In the evening Larry and I went to the Sundancers Dance in Sun City. The dance was at Cowan Creek Amenities Center instead of the Ballroom. It's a smaller room but they had a great turn out. There were enough people there for six mainstream squares and four plus squares. Angie brought dessert to celebrate her daughter Allie's 10th Birthday. The desserts were delicious. In between the square dancing tips Brad played round dances via a recordings of Lucy Pate. The Sundancers have a dance every week and Brad Caldwell calls two plus tips and four or five mainstream tips. This week he called four mainstream tips and three plus tips. The last tip is usually mainstream but tonight all dancers that were still there were plus dancers Brad decided to have it a plus tip. We had a super time dancing to Brad. After each dance Brad will call an Advance Tip if there's enough people left that know the Advance moves. He usually has enough for one square but tonight there were enough for two squares.
