Wednesday 10-22-25 Dancing, Minnie Projects and Workout

Doing This and That

We had a gorgeous day. The low was 48 degrees and the high was 83 degrees. There was a little breeze. The weather was perfect to do projects outside.

We started the day by doing a Minnie project. I got up at 8:00 and had breakfast. Then I went outside to help Larry with installing the new motor in the air conditioner. He already had removed the cover so he was ready to begin. He was up on the roof so I helped him by getting tools and items he needed so he didn't have to get down. He opened the air conditioner and replaced the fan. He needed me to help him align the fan with the shaft. We worked through a small hole and couldn't see the screw to remove the fan.  Larry went on the roof and worked from above. I climbed a step ladder inside the Minnie and held the fan. We worked together and got it aligned. After getting the fan aligned we had to tighten a screw to keep it in place. I tightened the screw as tight as I could. Larry spun the fan and saw it wasn't spinning even. He loosened the screw and got the fan aligned. He had to go back on the roof to do so. Once he got it aligned he put the bracket back on. He noticed that the area around the air conditioner was filthy. We turned on the air compressure on and blew around the area. Then we put all the tools away.

The new seal did not arrive until after dark so hopefully he will finish the job tomorrow.

On Wednesdays I usually attended three virtual square dances. Today I was helping Larry so I missed Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 10:00 am for an hour. That was ok because I still had two others to attend.

First was Ett McAtee's Weekly C1 dance at 1:00 pm for an hour. Ett called five tips to 18 participants. Everyone was happy to see me back after being gone for two months. I struggled a little bit but I had a fun time dancing with friends.

Second was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:00 for an hour and a half. Karin Rabe and Greg Moore helped Dave call the dance. The format was three tips of C1, three tips of A2 and two Trivia questions. During the C1 tips we had 10 participants and A2 we had 11 participants. I had a super time dancing to Dave, Karin and Greg and friends.

While I danced Larry did a few projects: 1) sprayed for weeds, 2) cleaned air conditioner cover and 3) washed the cab of the Minnie to get rid of most of the bugs.

In between the dances I worked out for a half hour on the Synth Riders. I worked out to four songs two times. They were Riot, Go!, Tonight and Lazer Pink. I got a new high score on the songs. I was surprise I did as well as I did.

I played one game of Monster Manor on Bounce Arcade. I earned a bronze trophy, stunned the manor once, earned spooky skylight and played the Jack-O-Lanterns. I had fun.

I played seven games of pinball. They were Elvira Party Monsters Blood Red Kiss, Scared Stiff, Nightmare Before Christmas, Gillian's Island, Queen, Big Bang Bar and Jaws. I didn't get on the board but had a great time.

Larry saw that someone updated Elvira Party Monsters with a new VR room and playfield. So he installed the new update. It is a lot better looking then the old Party Monsters. Once he updated the game he played it.

After the last dance we started to re-watched the third season of Vienna Blood on PBS. Then I watched Indian Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark from our movies collection. I end up doing 2,500 steps.

I started reading the seventh and final book of Vienna Blood by Frank Tellis, yesterday. Today I continued reading it.
