Friday 10-24-25 Minnie Project, Rain, Dancing with Loren & More

We had a beautiful day with a lot of sunshine. The low was 70 degrees and the high was 87. At 9:30 pm the rain came. It down poured and hung around the rest of the night.

I woke up at 7:45 and got dressed. I was surprised Larry was still doing his morning routine. I asked him why he was still inside. He said the sun wasn't up yet. I made bagels with cream cheese for breakfast.

After breakfast we went outside to do another Minnie project. Today Larry replaced the front shocks. He replaced one side at a time. He started on the right side by jacking the Minnie up and removing the tire. He made a few trips in his workroom to get tools he needed. He removed the old shock. Then he put the new one on. It took a bit because he had to align the shock so he could put the bolts on to keep the shock on. He used two hydraulic jacks and a couple of floor jacks. Once the shock was installed on the right side he put the tire back on and lowered the Minnie. Then he moved to the other side and did the same thing. It took him three hours.

While Larry was working on the Minnie I kept him company and helped him when needed, which wasn't much. I continued reading the seventh and final book of Vienna Blood by Frank Tallis, which is Mephisto Waltz.

Reading is fun

In the afternoon I worked out with the Synth Riders for a half hour with four songs, which were Sunset Hologram, Choices, Suppress and Neo Tokyo. I did the songs twice and earned 5 out of 8 Outstanding and 4 out of 8 new high score. I had a great time.

After working out with the Synth Riders we went to town. Larry wanted to go to Harbor Freight to get a tool he wanted, unfortunately they didn't have it. We walked through Harbor Freight and checked out what they had, we had not been there in a long time. We didn't buy anything.

We have been getting some advertisement about Atwoods Farm, Ranch, Outdoors and Home Goods. While we were in town we stopped by the store and walked through it. It was a lot like a Tractor Supply store. We ended up buying 12 gallons of bleach for the septic system, it was quite a bit less expensive than Dollar Tree and came in gallon jugs.

On the way home we were driving by an Industrial Park and saw it was decorated for Halloween. So Larry turned around and I took a few pictures, which are below.

We got a home delivery from Walmart at 3:00 and I put the groceries away.

I played six pinball games, which were JP Space Cadet, Fish Tales, Cirqus Voltaire, Gillian's Island, Fun House and Junk Yard. I played Fun House twice and got on the board as Grand Champion the second game. While playing Junk Yard I came in high score #2. I had a super day of playing pinball.

In the evening I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 at 6:30 for an hour. This week Loren Smith covered for her. He called five tips of A2 to 8 participants. The fourth tip Loren worked on Motivate because some of the dancers were having problems with it. It was great to see Loren and danced to him because he is very smooth and helpful. It was a great hour dancing with friends.

Get a partner and dance

After the dance we finished watching the third season of Vienna Blood on PBS. After Larry went to bed I watched Book Club on Kanopy. It was a 2018 film starring Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen. It was a cute movie about four friends, who lifes change after reading 50 Shades of Gray. It was a comedy/romantic/drama.  Then I watched the third movie of Indiana Jones The Last Crusade. I ended up doing 6,000 steps.
