Fall Trip Summary
We were on the road for 56 days. We drove 3,764 miles and visited 6 states. The states were: Texas (6), Colorado (14), Wyoming (29), Oklahoma (2) and Arkansas (5). While visiting the states were camped at 8 city parks, 1 county park, 4 Walmarts, Goodway Auto Repair Shop, 5 National Forests, 3 state parks and Turkey Track Music Festival campground. The five National Forest were Pike-San Isabel (Matchless), Medicine Bow-Routt (Ryan Park, Silver Lake, Willow, Vedauwoo and Tie City). Big Horn (Middle Fork and Sitting Bull) and Shoshone (Wapiti).
We drove 3764 miles and spent 2953.75 (repairs not included, an additional $2,309.88). The cost for camping was $530.60, which was $9.48 per day. The fuel was $983.67, which average of 2.79 per gallon. The Minnie did excellent on gas mileage, which was 10.1 per gallon.
We did a lot of fun stuff. In Wyoming we visited two hot springs, Hobo Hot Springs in Saratoga and Thermopolis Hot Springs State Park. We played pinball at three different places: Cheyenne Ice & Events Center, Magoo's in Oklahoma City and Side Quest Arcade in Dallas. While in Cheyenne we self toured the Cheyenne History Museum, the Old Governor Mansion and Capitol Building. We visited the University of Wyoming in Laramie and went to the Art Museum and Geological Museum. We spent five days in Silverthorne Colorado to get the Minnie worked on. While there we walked around the city. We hiked/walked over 125 miles. We attended the 48th Anniversary of Turkey Track Bluegrass Music Festival in Waldron Arkansas. This was the first time we attended a music festival and had a super time. While at the festival we listened to 11 different bluegrass bands and Roger Sparks' Ole Timey Fiddlin Session. We had an outstanding time.
Home Sweet Home
We're home after a fabulous fall trip.
We drove 78 miles this morning. We left Lake Whitney State Park at 7:45 and got home about 9:45. We drove two lane highways through small cites and towns.
Before leaving the campground Larry programmed the route on our GPS. There was two routes, one had a detour because they're rebuilding an old bridge (one route was for trucks to get around the construction and the other one was for cars). We took the route for cars. While driving through Whitney TX we stopped and got donuts for breakfast. The detour road was very narrow and rough. We got to a place and found out why the trucks went on the other route. There was a bridge that wasn't tall enough for us to get under. We had to turn around and go back to the other route. It wasn't too far. The drive was just ranch land.
When we got home we unloaded the Minnie, which took us a couple of hours. We unloaded the motorcycle off the carrier. We'll clean the carrier before taking it off the back of the Minnie. Once everything was unloaded I put things away and started doing laundry.
Larry downloaded my weekly challenge for pinball, which is F-14 Tomcat. Then he installed the game in both 2D and VR. Once the game was installed he played the game in both 2D and VR to make sure they works. Then I played it. My first score for the week was 269,220. I was having problems with the game. I played another game called Big Bang Bar and it worked. I played the challenge again and it worked.

In the evening we started watching the YouTuber's we follow. It will take awhile to get caught up. We got caught up on two folks we follow and then YouTube stopped working. There was some kind of a world wide problem preventing it from working. Then we watched Wicked: Part 1 on Amazon. It was an ok movie. After watching the movie Larry checked to see if YouTube came back. The good news was it was back up. When Larry went to bed I continued reading the fifth book of Vienna Blood series. I ended up doing 5,000 steps.
