Camping at Turkey Track Bluegrass Festival
We had another beautiful day with the low in the mid 50's and the high of 84 degrees. We had blue skies.
Today we had blueberry bagels for breakfast. The City of Waldron Chamber of Commerce was providing for free coffee and donuts at 8:00. When we got there at 8:30 no one was there and everything was packed up. Apparently they didn't bring enough donuts or coffee. We walked around the campground for about 20 minutes for .82 mile.
Then we went back to the Minnie and read. Larry started a short book and finished it.
The music was from 1:00 to 4:45. There were five groups performing today: Catahoula Drive, Spring Street, Deeper Shade of Blue, The Punches Family and Turkey Track Band. We listened to Catahoula Drive, Spring Street and Deeper Shade of Blue. We listened to about 20 minutes of The Punches Family, they were only singing gospel music, we don't mind gospel music but not every song. In June they have a Gospel Music Festival. While listening to music we shared a sour dough cinnamon roll from one of the vendors. It was not bad but it was a bit strange to have a sweet item made from sour dough. We also had an ice cream.

In the evening we went back to listen to more music. During the evening they had five groups performing. They were Catahoula Drive, Spring Street, Appalachian Road Show, Deeper Shade of Blue and The Punches Family. We listened to Catahoula Drive, Spring Street and Appalachian Road Show. The best group so far was the Appalachian Road Show, they had a lot of energy and were very good. They sang and played Bluegrass songs, that were very entertaining and got the audience to participate. They performed for an hour and a half. They did an outstanding job. We had a wonderful evening listening to music from 6:30 to 9:30.

We had a fun day listening to music and reading. I ended up doing 6,500 steps.
