Minnie Projects
We had an overcast day with the high of 92 degrees.
We started the day off by going to town. We drove the car to town. First stop was at Today's Car Wash. Next was at Pen Fed Credit Union to get some cash. Next was Dollar Tree in Temple but it wasn't open until 9:00 and it was only 8:45. We were surprised because the Dollar Tree we usually go to in Belton opens at 8:00. It is not far so we went there, it was already open. We bought some more bleach for our septic, a couple packs of cookies to bake.
The final stop was Walmart, which was across the street. We were curious about the price of bleach. The bleach we get at Dollar Tree the containers are getting smaller but they're still $1.25 each. We found out that it's still a cheaper price at Dollar Tree. While at Walmart we bought a couple of packages of candy for Halloween. We were thinking about not buying any because we haven't had any kids on Halloween for a few years. But we wanted to be prepared. We also bought a pack of Texas Roadhouse Mini Rolls to try out. Then we went home.
Doing errands
When we got home Larry went outside and finished a couple of projects on the Minnie. Since it is almost impossible to find a smog pump Larry decided to temporarily bypass it. Lots of people have done this so there was lots of information, it was pretty easy. You need to purchase a shorter belt and remove a pulley. The belt arrived yesterday. Minnie runs great and no more noise from the pump.
Next up was replacing the refrigerator temperature limit switch. The refrigerator works great and if it were to overheat it will now be protected.
While Larry did his projects I continued reading Death of the Maiden by Frank Tallis.
Reading is fun
Marty developed a new pinball table called Willow. Larry downloaded the game and installed it on both 2D and VR on the pinball cabinet. It took him a bit to get it to work. Once he got it installed and working he played it a bit to make sure there was no bugs.
Willow
I played eight games of pinball. They were Willy Wonka, Willow, Superman and the Justice League, Rambo, Great Houdini, James Bond 60th Anniversary, Big Lebowski and F-14 Tomcat. While playing Superman and the Justice League I entered my initials as high score #3. All the games were developed by Marty and I always have a great time playing his games. The playfield are always gorgeous and the games play very smoothly.

I played one game of Gunpowder Gulch on Bounce Arcade. I did very well. I earned a silver trophy. I played Jailbreak Multiball, Wooden Post Multiball and Saloon Multiball. I ended up solving two of the events, which were Gunfight and Quick Drawl. I did play the barrow and safe cracking (2) events but failed to solve them. I earned an extra ball. I had fun.
Gunpowder Gulch
We continued watching YouTube videos. When we come home after our fall and spring trips it takes a few days to catch up. Larry doesn't watch all the videos, he just chooses the one he wants.
In the evening we started watching a detective series on PBS called Maigret. It takes place in Paris and solves a crime in two episodes. We watched the first two episodes. Then we started to re-watch Vienna Blood second season, the first two episodes. I liked the series so far. When Larry went to sleep I watched Jack Reacher from our movies collection.
