Relaxing

It was an overcast day. It got up to 80 degrees.

Larry finished up repairing the security camera for the front door. He installed the pole and box he painted yesterday, inside the box is the new power adapter and network wiring, the camera is mounted to the box, it looks and works excellent. This camera was originally mounted to the ceiling of the porch but due to the angle it was difficult to see the face of whomever came to the door so Larry used a pole to lower it. This camera is part of a professional home surveillance system.

When the house was being built Larry ran network wiring to four different locations for cameras. He then installed a surveillance system that consisted of four high quality cameras and a digital recording system, whenever a camera senses movement it starts recording. These cameras can be looked at live or you can view the recordings. We can view them via our computer or our phone no matter where we are.

We also have some lesser expensive WIFI cameras that also record and we can access remotely.

Our newest WIFI camera is made by Wyze. Yesterday Larry received a Wyze Sense Starter Kit. These sensor kits are brand new and people around the country started receiving them yesterday. Many of those folks are writing reviews and giving ideas on how to use them on the Wyze forum. Larry read everything he could find, he decided to mount the motion sensor onto the box he installed this morning. When someone walks up to the front door we get a notification via the phone, hopefully whenever an Amazon package arrives we will now know it was delivered. You could also have the Wyze camera start to record whenever the sensor senses movement but our Wyze camera is currently installed inside the garage so that would not make sense. The kit also came with two contact switches, they would normally be used on windows or doors like home alarm systems use but they can also be used on things like cabinet doors, refrigerators or garage doors. Everything in the kit works great.

While he was doing his projects I worked out a half hour with Gold's Gym and a half hour with Just Dance. I have six different programs of Just Dance so I can change it up a little. Today I used three of the programs for ten minutes a piece, that I haven't danced to it in a bit. What's nice about the Just Dance programs and Gold's Gym are that they will keep track on how many calories you burn. I had a great workout.

In the evening we finished watching My Uncle Silas series on Amazon. It only had two seasons. It was a very good comedy series. Afterwards I watched a couple of episodes of Wire In Blood.
