Playing in the rain

Today we went to Georgetown to attend the Mid-Tex 71st Festival. This year they invited Mike Bramlett to call. We went to the A2 Workshop from 10:00 to noon. We had exactly three squares. Mike did an excellent job of making the two hours fun and challenging. He had us doing moves in different position in Plus and Advanced. We had a super time.

Fifteen minutes before the session was over it started to rain and thunder. After the dance we waited for about a half hour for the rain to slow down so we could get to the car. We weren't in any hurry because Larry really didn't want to drive I35 when it was pouring down rain. Once the rain slowed we headed to the house. The rain was very lite until we were near our house. We were glad that we had a garage we could get into.

During the afternoon I worked on my puzzle. In the evening we watched an Amazon movie called The Man Who Lost His Head. It was a 2007 movie starring Martin Clunes, he plays a curator from an English museum who was asked to go to New Zealand to return a mystical Maori relic. It was a good movie. Then I watched a couple of episodes of Suits and the last episode of Fire in the Blood series. I won't recommend Fire in the Blood series because it was very gory.
