Saturday 5-4 Fortuitous Duo Dance

We had a great day of having fun.

Larry started the day off by fertilizing and treating for weeds in the far backyard. We have an area in the back of our yard that we don't really maintain other than to mow it. When we put the yard in we had sod laid and an irrigation system installed about 40 feet out into the back yard, the other 70 feet where the septic system sprays we seeded and there is no irrigation. The grass seed did pretty well for a bit but with the summer drought the last couple of years the weeds have taken over. Larry decided that maybe he needs to pay a little more attention to it so this morning the rain was gone and he decided it was time to treat it for weeds. While he treated the yard I worked on my puzzle.

The other day we took the truck for a ride and found out that the air condition wasn't cooling off properly. This morning we stopped at Walmart to buy some freon. The new cans look the same but they have a self sealing tap and do not work with Larry's gauge. He did some research and found that Walmart had an adapter that would fix the problem. The only problem was that the reviews weren't very good. 

Refrigerant

Allemande Hall in the Waco area was having a special afternoon and evening dance. Tim Tyl and Nelda Eatan were the callers for the dancing. We attended the afternoon dance. It was two hours of mainstream and a little bit of plus. We had four squares of dancers and a couple more sitting out. We hadn't been to Allemande Hall in a long time so it was great to see our friends we hadn't seen in a bit. They had a super afternoon of dancing. Tim and Nelda did a great job of calling.

On the way home from the dance we stopped by Walmart and bought the refrigerant adapter.

In the evening we relaxed in front of the television.
