Wednesday 5-13-26 Back to Dancing, Paper Crafting & More

Awesome Day

We had an awesome day.

It was a beautiful day with sunshine. The morning temperature was 61 degrees and the high was 88 degrees.

We kept bus doing this and that.

I attended three virtual dances. First was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 10:00 for an hour and fifteen minutes. Terry called the first tips and Di called the other four tips. They had 10 participants. Di continued working on the new moves, that was taken from A2 level of dancing to the Plus level. The moves were:  Quarter Thru, Left Quarter Thru, Scoot and Dodge, Pass the Sea, Partner Hinge, Partner Tag, Clover and, Pair Off, Circle To and and Roll. Everyone was happy to see me back after seven weeks on the road. Larry even popped in to say hi. I had a great time dancing with friends and to Terry and Di.

Second was Ett McAtee's Weekly C1 at 1:00 for an hour. She had another comment so Loren Smith covered for her. He called four tips to 7 participants. Larry danced with me the whole dance. Loren was happy because we were the only couple there. He worked on moves Larry and I were having problems with. They were Relay the Top, Galaxy Formation and Triple Box Concepts. Larry helped me get in the right place a few times. Everyone was happy to see us back dancing. We had a super time dancing to Loren and with friends.

Third was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:00 for an hour and a half. Karin Rabe and Greg Moore helped Dave call the dance. The format was three tips of C1 to 7 participants, three tips of A2 to 10 participants and two Trivia questions. Once again everyone was happy to see me back. I had a lot of fun dancing to Dave, Karin and Greg and with friends.

Grab a partner and dance

While I danced Larry did a couple of projects. He sprayed for weeds in the gravel and continued working on his paper crafting of making the graduation card for the neighbor.

After Loren's dance we went to town to do a few of errands. First was Walmart to pick up a couple of things I forgot to order the other day. Next was O'Reilly for some hose. Next Michael's to buy a set of four tassels because the one we got yesterday at Dollar Tree was too big. Last stop was PenFed Credit Union to get some money. Then we went home.

Checking off our list of things to do

I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango of 20 games (10 Klondike and 10 Free Cell). It took me 1 hour, 28 minutes and 11 seconds, which put me in 9th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

I played four pinball games on the big cabinet, which were Big Bang Bar, Queen, Tales From the Crypt and Theatre of Magic. I had fun playing pinball even though I didn't get on the board.

Big Bang Bar

Queen

Tales From the Crypt

Theatre of Magic

After Dave's dance we watched an episode of Call the Midwife on PBS. We watched YouTube videos. After Larry went to bed I watched the De Vinci Code from our movies collection. I ended up doing 4,000 steps.
